About Me

My name is Michal Lev Hamon.

I have also a B.A degree in sociology and special education from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During the last ten years. I took pictures of many events of bar\bat Mitzvah, and I have accumulated extensive experience in working with families, with guests and the sons and daughters celebrating their Bar/Bat Mitzvah

I am a professional and experienced photographer and a member of the Har-El Reform Community in Jerusalem.

I specialize in event photography, mainly of Bar and Bat Mitzvah for members of the American and Canadian reform communities that come to Israel to celebrate this special occasion and conduct ceremonies at Robinson’s Arch in Jerusalem and at Masada.  I shoot stills and work with an expert video photographer.

I have a background in art which is apparent in my photography.

In my work I focus especially on capturing the special, once in a lifetime moments that the family experiences – love, joy, tears of excitement.

I preserve all of these moments with my discerning eye and my camera – together we capture the moment.

The result is that when the family looks through the photo album of the event it relives those magical moments and feels a special thrill, as if the event is happening all over again.
